INFECTION IS A KILLER

My computer was a disaster waiting to happen. I was not aggressive enough in protecting it, and it repaid me with just up and dying. I knew it was fatal when it tried to open 87 copies of Google..... of course just going into a bogged down stupor.

What to do? After considering my options ( and thanks to all who offered assistance, but I could not impose on offers from very busy people), and how miserable I can get without my computer for even one day, I opted for the Geek Squad. And I would do it again. The guy does pretty well, working 3 days a week, 12 hours a day. He was competent, focused and professional,,,right down to his official Geek Squad uniform, shoes (they even say "Geek Squad on the bottom of the heel) and badge.

Hope he was fairly compensated (after he gets his cut) for the 5 hours he spent removing 8,000 infected files and installing my Norton, all from right here at the cabin ( $250, are you kidding, compared to what the plumber charges?).

I am glad this 19 year old likes computers, doesn't mind living with his parents and likes driving a cool little VW bug !
